Biography

Sharon Bautista, an attorney with the firm's Appellate Section, joined Baron & Budd in 2005, shortly after graduating with honors from the prestigious University of Texas School of Law. During law school, Sharon interned with the Equal Justice Center/Central Texas Immigrant Workers Rights Center, where she assisted low-income workers recover unpaid wages owed to them. Sharon continues her devotion to protecting workers' rights through her substantive legal briefing of issues relating to workers injured by exposure to toxic substances on the job.

Sharon is very proud to have taught high school for 14 years before attending law school. Now, as a lawyer, she continues to be proud of the work she does. For her, practicing law at Baron & Budd is immensely meaningful because it gives her "an opportunity to work for justice for those who have been treated unjustly and to create incentives for corporations to put health over profits."
